1. Google makes it easier for Android developers to build apps with its Material You design

At Google’s Android Developer Summit, the company announced that Material You is available in Jetpack Compose, so app designers can more easily adopt the look in their own products. New elements include dynamic guidelines that will help apps respond and adjust algorithmically to a user’s wallpaper choice, as well as tips on how to maintain a third-party app’s individual brand expression while adapting. 3. LinkedIn rolls out its freelance services marketplace globally after picking up 2M users in smaller US beta

LinkedIn is opening up a new front in the job market for freelancers. It is taking the wraps off its Service Marketplace, a new feature that will let people advertise themselves for short-term engagements to those looking to hire people for such roles, competing against the likes of Fiverr and Upwork for sourcing skilled knowledge workers. 4. Google Search Console Search Analytics API gains Discover, News and Regex

Google has added new support, data and features to the Google Search Console Search Analytics API. The API now supports showing data for Google Discover, Google News and also supports Regex commands — all of which were already supported in the web interface. [Source: Search Engine Land]

5. Instagram Makes Links in Stories Available to All Accounts

6. Twitter will let Twitter Blue subscribers try some new features early

7. App advertisers can now use App campaigns for engagement without implementing deep links

App advertisers are no longer required to implement deep linking to run App campaigns for engagement, Google Ads announced Monday. As a new option, advertisers can select “Set to app homepage” during ad group creation to direct users to the app homepage. [Source: Search Engine Land]

8. Microsoft buys IPaaS platform that integrates with Oracle, SAP

Microsoft has announced that it has acquired iPaaS and business process solutions company Clear Software. Microsoft customers who build their own business solutions with Microsoft Power Platform are expected to gain from stronger integration with outside systems as a result of the deal. 9. LinkedIn Adds New Tools for Company Pages, Including Workplace Flexibility Listings and Competitor Tracking

LinkedIn has announced some new features for LinkedIn Company Pages which will help businesses better align with the next stage of the process. 10. Google reduces the unique product identifiers enforcement on free product listings

Google is changing the enforcement policy around unique product identifiers for Google Merchant Center from immediate disapproval to limited performance capabilities for free listings. “Products that are missing such attributes will remain eligible to serve but their performance may be limited,” the company said.
