Here’s a look at last week’s results where we asked users about their expectations from online holiday bookings.
- More than half of the respondents (58%) said that they look for discounts/ offers when they do online holiday bookings. Some of the respondents are enticed by features like customised plans (15%), quick processing (10%), immediate assistance (8%), easy payments (6%) and other reasons (3%).
- The results clearly hint that the marketing strategies being followed by brands are working for them. However, marketers can think of ways to entice users towards other features too so that they don’t have to rely on discounts alone to influence the online holiday booking decision.
- There is a huge possibility that different players can play around the discount game and attract your consumers towards their services. Hence, marketers also need to focus on attracting the consumers towards other features too so that they can win their loyalty.
